Baseball Recap: Irvin Comes Up Short

Irvin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to the Austin Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 back in March.

Irvin's record now sits at 4-19-1. As for Austin, their win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-18.

While Irvin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
