South Allegheny won the last time they faced Brentwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Gladiators really took it to the Spartans for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-6 victory. With the Gladiators ahead 42-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
South Allegheny's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Cook, who picked up 35 receiving yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 80 yards.
