Basketball Game Preview: Lake Braddock Bruins vs. West Potomac Wolverines

Lake Braddock hasn't had much luck against West Potomac recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lake Braddock Bruins will square off against the West Potomac Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lake Braddock is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Alexandria City with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 76-58.

Meanwhile, West Potomac posted their closest win since February 22, 2024 on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-35 victory over Woodson. The win was nothing new for the Wolverines as they're now sitting on three straight.

West Potomac's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for Lake Braddock, their record is now 9-11.

Lake Braddock ended up a good deal behind West Potomac in their previous matchup back in January, losing 49-35. Can Lake Braddock avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
