Volleyball Recap: Dwyer Comes Up Short

If Dwyer was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Glades Central last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dwyer Panthers came up short against the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-14.

Dwyer's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dwyer will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Glades Central at 6:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, they are taking a road trip to square off against Santaluces at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
