Softball Recap: Johnson Falls to Marengo in First Game of Season

Johnson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 25-1 to the Marengo Panthers on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson will venture away from home to challenge Keith at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marengo will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Choctaw County at 4:00 p.m. on March 18th.
