Christian Academy of Knoxville had won eight straight home games and Maddie Braden did her part to make it nine on Thursday. Everything went the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors' way against Providence Academy as the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors made off with a 59-39 victory thanks in part to Braden, who went 10-for-20 en route to 27 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 43% in the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Sophie Carroll, who posted no points along with 14 boards and three blocks. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Kinley Painter and Kennedy Phillips certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Painter scored 15 points in addition to seven assists and six rebounds, while Phillips put up nine points along with eight boards and three steals. Aerin Hicks was another key player, putting up six points.

Christian Academy of Knoxville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points over those games. Providence Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-12.

Christian Academy of Knoxville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-55 win against Grace Christian Academy on the 15th. As for Providence Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 48-44 victory against King's Academy on the 15th.
