Gulf Breeze extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. The matchup between the Dolphins and the Booker T. Washington Wildcats didn't end well, with the Dolphins falling 34-16. On the bright side, the 16- point effort marked the Dolphins' highest-scoring contest to date.

Although Gulf Breeze took the loss, they still got scores from Jackson Winkler and Amari Johnson.

Gulf Breeze didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ethan Geiger and Johnson. Johnson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

As for Booker T. Washington, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Da'Sean Bohanan had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 171 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Lawrence, who rushed for 94 yards and one score on only ten carries.

Gulf Breeze didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 56-6 loss against Niceville on the 26th. As for Booker T. Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 22-3 defeat against Escambia on the 26th.
