Sequoia and Woodside are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but likely not for long. The Sequoia Ravens will face off against the Woodside Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Sequoia saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Wilcox by a score of 2-1. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sequoia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Johnson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Woodside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Lincoln by a score of 6-2 on Monday.

Woodside let Anderson Comfort and Junior Cattaneo run wild. Comfort scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Cattaneo scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave Cattaneo a new career-high in hits. Cruz Torres was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Sequoia now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Woodside, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Sequoia came up short against Woodside in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 6-3. Can Sequoia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
