Basketball Recap: Tuttle Takes a Loss

Tuttle was the 66-54 winner over Plainview when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Tuttle Tigers took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plainview Indians on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 390th, while the Indians are ranked 186th).

Tuttle's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Plainview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuttle will take on Newcastle at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plainview, they will square off against Lone Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
