Softball Recap: North Sand Mountain Comes Up Short

North Sand Mountain and Pisgah squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but North Sand Mountain had to settle for second. They lost 13-3 to the Eagles. The Bison have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

North Sand Mountain now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Pisgah, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pisgah beat North Sand Mountain by a score of 11-5 later that day.
