Baseball Recap: Scranton Prep Cavaliers vs. Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Scranton, Scranton Prep was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They skirted past the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns 5-4. For Scranton Prep, this counts as revenge for the 4-0 loss Wallenpaupack Area walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.
George Stallman was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Decker, who went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
On Wallenpaupack Area's side, they saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greg VanGorder, who went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI.
