After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dickson County, Franklin was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Ravenwood Raptors. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Admirals as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Chloe Rowland spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.
At the plate, Franklin saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Myers, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
Franklin hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ravenwood struck out 12 times.
