Volleyball Recap: Cohasset Takes a Loss

Cohasset lost against Carver back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Skippers fell 3-1 to the Crusaders.

While Cohasset ultimately came up short, they really made Carver work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-17, 23-25, 25-16.

Carver found their leader in sophomore Grace Hyland, who had 11 digs.

Cohasset's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for Carver, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Looking ahead, Cohasset will head out to take on Sandwich at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carver, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Mashpee at 5:45 p.m.
