Volleyball Game Preview: Elgin Maroons vs. Bartlett Hawks + How To Watch

Elgin hasn't had much luck against Bartlett recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Maroons are taking a road trip to square off against the Hawks at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Elgin beat Round Lake 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Elgin was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Bartlett had to endure a 12-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Fenton on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1.

Bartlett had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-14, 25-15.

Bartlett picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 6-16. As for Elgin, their record is now 5-13.

Elgin came up short against Bartlett in their previous matchup back in August, falling 2-0. Can the Maroons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
