Volleyball Recap: Camryn Williams' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Isle of Wight Academy over Greenbrier Christian Academy

Isle of Wight Academy lost against Greenbrier Christian Academy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chargers fell 3-1 to the Gators.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 17-25, 25-21.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Camryn Williams, who had 16 digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Camryn Smith, who had ten digs.

Isle of Wight Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-7-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Isle of Wight Academy will welcome Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Denbigh Baptist Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
