South Warren snaps three-game streak of wins at home

Recap: South Warren Spartans vs. Red Bank Lions

On Thursday, South Warren was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Red Bank. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points South Warren has scored all season.

Red Bank had a senior duo take command as Anthony Bonner scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and three steals and Kendrick Lloyd scored 16 points. The contest was Bonner's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Drayden Collier, who scored eight points.

South Warren's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4. As for Red Bank, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

South Warren won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Owensboro on December 22nd. Red Bank won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Warren East at 2:30 p.m. on December 22nd. One thing working in Warren East's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups.
