It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but University ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the Morgantown Mohigans 4-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 8-5 win back in April.

University saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adalyn Brown, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles.

University is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 22-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Morgantown, they moved to 20-10 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

University will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mohigans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
