Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valhalla). They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Scripps Ranch Falcons on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Norsemen as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Mace Wheeler, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Valhalla is 2-1 when Wheeler posts two or more runs, but 2-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Rivera, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Valhalla's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Scripps Ranch, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valhalla will take on Desert Oasis in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Scripps Ranch, they will square off against Mt. Carmel at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sundevils will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
