Soccer Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the White House Blue Devils, falling 7-1. Springfield haven't had much luck with White House recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Springfield's goal came courtesy of Diana Sanjines Cadena, who's now up to 21 this season.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for White House, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season.

Springfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for White House, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Liberty Creek on the 14th.
