Football Recap: Jurupa Hills Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Jurupa Hills Spartans took a blow against the Hesperia Scorpions on Friday, falling 35-7. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hesperia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zamar Malveaux, who rushed for 171 yards on only 11 carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and one touchdown. Malveaux's longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Darius Williams was another key signal caller, throwing for 182 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes.

Jurupa Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hesperia, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jurupa Hills will square off against Temescal Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hesperia, they will face off against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
