Volleyball Recap: Poston Butte Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Poston Butte can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Cactus Cobras on Tuesday. The Broncos just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Poston Butte took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 27-25.

Evoleht Ledezma paced Poston Butte's offense, picking up nine kills. Ledezma got some help from Aracely Pi?a and her ten assists.

Among those leading the charge was Faith Connell, who had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matches.

Poston Butte's defeat dropped their record down to 13-22. As for Cactus, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Poston Butte nor Cactus have any future games scheduled.
