El Capitan's leading scorer did her thing again on Friday. Keira Heinricy was dialed in as she went 7 for 15 on her way to 19 points and eight boards. She was up against Helix and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in January of 2024.

Heinricy and El Capitan will square off against Steele Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vaqueros got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cougars, probably because Heinricy had a solid game then too: she went 6 of 14 en route to 13 points and four steals.
