Volleyball Recap: Pinkerton's Undefeated Season over After 13 Games

If Pinkerton was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Concord on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Astros fell 3-1 to the Portsmouth Clippers on Thursday. The loss was the Astros' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pinkerton fell to 12-1. As for Portsmouth, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

While Pinkerton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
