Baseball Recap: Arcadia's Undefeated Season over After 14 Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Arcadia finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell 4-1 to the Orange Lutheran Lancers. The matchup marked the Apaches' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Damian Catano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits.

At the plate, Arcadia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Brereton, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Arcadia fell to 13-1. As for Orange Lutheran, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Orange Lutheran will face off against Granada Hills Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Arcadia will be paying especially close attention to Orange Lutheran's contest: after Orange Lutheran faces off against Granada Hills Charter, they'll take on Arcadia again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
