Soccer Recap: Langston Hughes Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten goals the game before, Langston Hughes was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Newnan Cougars, falling 10-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Having lost for the first time this season, Langston Hughes fell to 3-1. As for Newnan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

As for Newnan, they will be playing at home against Lovejoy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newnan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season.
