Don Bosco Prep isn't just the most dominant football program in New Jersey — it's one of the most dominant in the nation.

The Ironmen have been outrageously successful since MaxPreps became America's source for high school sports in 2006, capturing titles in all seven trips to title games. And to top that off, they've never been ranked lower than sixth in the computer rankings.

Private schools abound on our list of the most dominant programs in the state, but Wayne Hills stands out with its No. 4 ranking as the best-rated public school.



The list of the most dominant teams in the state also provides a variety of enrollment classes - so check out the list below to see if your school made the cut.

Here is how the points break down:

1. 20 for a state title

2. 10 for a state championship game appearance

3. Other points are based on where a team finished in the final MaxPreps New Jersey Football Computer Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall, it would receive 25 points. If it finished 25th overall, the team would get one point. No points are awarded if the team did not finish in the Top 25.
