Cayla Funches Game Report: vs Los Gatos

For the first time ever, Cayla Funches turned in triple-digit receiving yards on Wednesday. She picked up 115 receiving yards as Milpitas fell to Los Gatos 12-10. We rated that as her best performance since last Wednesday, when she picked up 84 receiving yards and one TD.

Looking ahead, Funches and Milpitas are taking a road trip to challenge Gunn at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Funches' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Trojans' ten-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Funches and the Trojans surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Monday's match.
