Softball Game Preview: Gateway Gators vs. Greater Latrobe Wildcats

The Gateway Gators will square off against the Greater Latrobe Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Gateway is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Kiski Area on Monday. They lost 16-2 to the Cavaliers. The loss continues a trend for the Gators in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost five in a row.

Gateway saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Robl, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Greater Latrobe got themselves on the board against Mt. Pleasant on Friday, but Mt. Pleasant never followed suit. They blew past the Vikings 10-0.

Having lost for the first time this season, Gateway fell to 2-1. As for Greater Latrobe, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
