Lake Station Edison and Hebron squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lake Station Edison had to settle for second. They lost 11-4 to the Hawks. The Fighting Eagles' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Lake Station Edison saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Brown, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Lake Station Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Hebron, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10-1 record this season.

Lake Station Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hebron, they will take on Boone Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
