Basketball Recap: Harlem Comes Up Short

Harlem was the 53-46 winner over Sterling when they last played one another back in December of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Harlem Huskies were outmatched by the Sterling Golden Warriors and fell 74-39. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Golden Warriors are ranked 28th).

Harlem's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Sterling, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

Harlem has already played their next matchup, a 55-44 loss against Hall on the 18th. As for Sterling, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-50 defeat against Lutheran on the 18th.
