Baseball Recap: Tabernacle Comes Up Short

Tabernacle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 9-1 to the East Central HomeSchool Patriots. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Torches couldn't push the score so high this time.

Tabernacle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for East Central HomeSchool, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4.

Tabernacle will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clay County Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on April 4th. As for East Central HomeSchool, they will face off against Tuscaloosa Home Educators at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
