Basketball Recap: Graford Comes Up Short

Graford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 71-46 to the Hico Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Rabbits can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 754th, while the Tigers are ranked 345th).

Graford's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Hico, they pushed their record up to 19-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Graford is set to challenge their familiar foe Hamilton at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hico will square off against rival De Leon at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
