While Center Point-Urbana's win against North Linn wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Stormin' Pointers had just enough and edged out the Lynx 4-3 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Stormin' Pointers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Center Point-Urbana pushed their record up to 8-16 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for North Linn, they moved to 21-3 with that loss, which also ended their 17-game winning streak.

Center Point-Urbana wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-4 defeat against Benton on the 3rd. As for North Linn, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-4 victory against North Tama on the 2nd.
