Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Clemente

Clemente had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Westinghouse Warriors 17-4. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won five games by nine runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Christopher Serrano, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyvert Gonzalez, who went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs.

Clemente always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Clemente now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Westinghouse, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
