Volleyball Recap: San Gabriel Academy Comes Up Short

San Gabriel Academy was the 3-0 winner over Pacifica Christian when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Tritons on Wednesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

San Gabriel Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-13, 25-19.

San Gabriel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Pacifica Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.

Coming up, San Gabriel Academy will head out to challenge Rio Hondo Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pacifica Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Samueli Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Firewolves will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Tritons surely won't give up without a fight.
