Soccer Recap: Poinciana Wins Going Away Against Liberty

Poinciana's and Liberty's contest on Thursday was close at halftime, but Poinciana turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. The Poinciana Eagles blew past the Liberty Chargers 4-1. Considering the Eagles' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Poinciana has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-8-1 record this season. As for Liberty, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poinciana will square off against St. Cloud at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will head out on the road to challenge Cocoa at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
