Baseball Recap: San Lorenzo Valley Takes a Loss

San Lorenzo Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Aptos, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cougars fell just short of the Mariners by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

San Lorenzo Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Larrabee Mitchell, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

San Lorenzo Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Aptos, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Aptos will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against St. Monica at 4:00 p.m. San Lorenzo Valley will be paying especially close attention to the Mariners' match: after the Mariners face off against the Mariners, they'll take on San Lorenzo Valley again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
