Ramona has gone 9-1 against Patriot recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Patriot will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Ramona extended their winning streak to five last Friday. The Rams breezed past Poly to the tune of 34-6. That 28 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Lorenzo Sims continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 177 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. Sims is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 174 every time he's taken the field this season. Michael White got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Ramona's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Moises Mendoza refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. He was another major factor on D, picking up 1.5 sacks and making 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patriot). In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 52-51 victory over Shadow Hills.
A big part of Patriot's win came down to the chemistry between Nathan Villanueva and his top target Jordan Tapia. Villanueva rushed for 175 yards and one score while Tapia picked up 43 receiving yards and one TD.
Patriot was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 406 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 152 rushing yards in 13 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Patriot, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Joseph Martinez, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Patriot's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Ramona, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Ramona has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 240.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Patriot struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 306.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Ramona strolled past Patriot in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 26-7. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Warriors' Josiah Felix, who rushed for 130 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Rams to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
