Baseball Recap: Centralia Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Centralia faced off against Macon on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 13-7 to the Tigers. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Henry Bohlmeyer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Gehrig, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Centralia's record is now 7-7. As for Macon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Coming up, Centralia will head out on the road to take on Mexico at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Macon, they will face off against Brookfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
