Softball Recap: Lakeshore Comes Up Short

Lakeshore lost against Haynes Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Lakeshore came up short against Haynes Academy, falling 9-2. Lakeshore has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tannah Willie was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Lakeshore's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Haynes Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Lakeshore is taking a road trip to challenge Pope John Paul II at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Haynes Academy, they will host Ursuline Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Haynes Academy's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
