             Tuckahoe came tearing into  Friday's  match with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding  28-0 victory over the Haldane Blue Devils. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.
 Tuckahoe was led to victory by  Connor Brice and  Declan Connolly.  Brice rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while  Connolly gained 102 total yards and two touchdowns. Connolly didn't just play on offense: he also picked up  a  sack and made five total tackles.
 Tuckahoe is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.5 points per game. As for Haldane, they now  have a losing record at 4-5.
 Tuckahoe will face off against Burke Catholic at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average, (Tuckahoe: 12.6, Burke Catholic: 11.2) so any  points scored will be well earned. Haldane does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
