Basketball Recap: Stafford Find Success

North Stafford came into Wednesday's match looking for another win against Stafford, but Jackson Wallace wouldn't allow it. The Stafford Indians snuck past the North Stafford Wolverines with a 62-58 victory on Wednesday thanks in part to Wallace, who went 11 of 17 en route to 26 points. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Michael Williams also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season. What's more, he also racked up three rebounds, the most he's had since back in February of 2024.

Stafford's record now sits at 7-13. As for North Stafford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stafford will welcome Massaponax at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stafford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season. As for North Stafford, they will be playing at home against Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
