Recap: Mount Si Wildcats vs. Bothell Cougars
Even though The Mount Si Wildcats have not done well against the Bothell Cougars recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Mount Si came out on top against Bothell by a score of 30-18. Mount Si pushed the score to 30-6 by the end of the third, a deficit Bothell cut but never quite recovered from.
Among those leading the charge was Beau Phillips, who rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. Phillips is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Jake Johnson made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Mount Si's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Bothell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
Mount Si does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bothell also has no future games currently scheduled.
