Basketball Game Preview: Shorewood Stormrays vs. Edmonds-Woodway Warriors

The Shorewood Stormrays are taking a road trip to challenge the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Shorewood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Edmonds-Woodway likes a good challenge.

Shorewood will bounce into Monday's match after beating Lynnwood, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Shorewood walked away with a 63-55 victory over Lynnwood on Friday.

Meanwhile, Edmonds-Woodway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Meadowdale and fell 60-32.

Shorewood's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Edmonds-Woodway, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Shorewood didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Edmonds-Woodway in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 47-42 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shorewood since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
