Bunn came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Roanoke Rapids, but Shaniah Daniels wouldn't allow it. The Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets managed a 37-33 win over the Bunn Wildcats on Thursday thanks to Daniels, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 20 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 22 times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Gabriella Buffaloe, who posted three points along with 14 rebounds and three steals. She is becoming a predictor of Roanoke Rapids' success: when she posts at least eight boards the team is 3-1 (and 4-10 when she doesn't).

When it comes to explaining why Bunn lost, don't look at Ny'lah Mitchell. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
