Westville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Kansas Comets, falling 21-4. On the bright side, the four- run effort marked the Yellowjackets' highest-scoring contest to date.

Westville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Kansas, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Looking ahead, Westville will challenge Sequoyah at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Kansas, they will take on Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Ridgerunners' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Comets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
