Torrance entered their tilt with Redondo Union on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Sea Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on March 7th.

Aiden Anaya spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in February of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Vaugn Reinert, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Torrance pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Redondo Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Torrance will have a chance to go back-to-back against Redondo Union: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
