Tucson High Magnet School is 9-1 against Marana since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Badgers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Tucson High Magnet School will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Tucson High Magnet School is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Mountain View get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Friday. The Badgers haven't had any issues with the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Luis Camacho looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tenochtli Nepan Ollin was a standout: he went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Aldo Teilon, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Tucson High Magnet School hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain View struck out seven times.

Meanwhile, Marana didn't have quite enough to beat Cholla on Friday and fell 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brandon Collings was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 6.1 innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

The win got Tucson High Magnet School back to even at 9-9. As for Marana, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Tucson High Magnet School skirted past Marana 4-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Badgers repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
