Brady is 0-5 against Sandhills/Thedford since September of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
On Friday, everything came up roses for Brady against Bayard as the team secured a 40-8 victory. The Eagles pushed the score to 34-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

Cinch Sanger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 168 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 107 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What's more, he racked up 127.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.
Brady didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Payton Miller and Canin Golter. Golter also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 13.
Meanwhile, Sandhills/Thedford got the win against Maxwell on Thursday by a conclusive 52-28. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.
Brady better keep an eye on Maurice Robinson. He was instrumental in Sandhills/Thedford's win, rushing for 272 yards and five scores while picking up 13.0 yards per carry. Robinson's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards. Another player making a difference was Carter Anderson, who rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries.
Sandhills/Thedford didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Maxwell to a completion percentage of just 43.8%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Anderson and Mason Sutton, who each logged three passes deflected. Sandhills/Thedford hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.11 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Sandhills/Thedford now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Brady, their record now sits at 2-3.
Thursday's game might be decided on the ground. Brady has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 198.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Sandhills/Thedford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 234 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Brady took a serious blow against Sandhills/Thedford when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 58-0. Thankfully for the Eagles, Kyle Cox (who rushed for 153 yards and four TDs on only six carries, and also threw for 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time.
