Volleyball Recap: Tennessee Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tennessee had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Daniel Boone Trailblazers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tennessee was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-8, 25-14.

Faith Hayes paced Tennessee's offense, picking up ten kills. Hayes got some help from Bree Adams and her 16 assists. Adams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Tennessee's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Tennessee will face off against Beechwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Daniel Boone, they will be playing at home against Elizabethton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
